I was running a fireworks tent in Seward, Nebraska, when I went through the McDonald's drive-thru on a busy Monday and ordered a large fry. It was about 10:55am and I didn't realize I was earlier than the 11am cook time for fries. Amanda, the manager on duty, politely told me she had the fryer just about ready and would be happy to bring fries out to me. She had me pull into the waiting stall, and sure enough, she brought me fresh french fries within a short wait. She didn't have to do that, as there were plenty of other customers and it's not like I was placing a large order. Maybe it was just her great attitude and professionalism, but I really felt like she went out of her way. Sometimes it's not just that someone does something, but HOW they do it. I told her that was great customer service and I really appreciated it. I'm the executive director of a leadership development program for young adults, and I find there are overlaps in leadership and customer service. I hope Amanda receives the recognition she deserves.
This McDonald's location is a disaster. I'm not usually a big fan of McDonald's to start with, but the Seward location feels dirty. They are always understaffed. I was one of two customers in the restaurant at 10:30 AM, and my order (three sausage burritos and a hashbrown) took 17 minutes. A little ridiculous, if you ask me. If you're driving through, wait for the McDonald's in York, NE (30 minutes west on I-80). It's worth the wait.
worst Mc Donald's I've ever been to. there's an employee Lauren I think was her name. so rude and unprofessional.I think her mom works there to. they kind of seem to know each other very well. both of them need to go before this place gets shut down. employees would also fight with each other, no one had hair nets or hats on. and i had to wait behind 3 other people who had messed up orders as well.
It was 3 mins before they would start serving lunch and they simply refused to serve me lunch. The drive thru was full. It would have taken me longer than that to make it to the windows. I told them id wait for the food and even asked to speak to the supervisor. Everyone I spoke to refused to take my lunch order. Not a fan of this location. Customer service is horrible. Prices are the same as a sit down restaurant. I will NOT be returning
It's McDonalds. If you dont know what MD's serves, you must live under a rock. Its fast food. The fries cant be beat if they are fresh.
