About Us:

Somerton Branch Library opened at the Firehall in April 1959, and moved to the new location on December 10, 2002. The Somerton Branch is an agricultural area, 11 miles southwest of the city of Yuma and about 12 miles from the United States border/State of Sonora Mexico. Schools include one junior high school, three elementary schools, one Learning Center, three head-start facilities, and one private K-12 school.
