Library service in Woodville began in 1937 with the formation of the Book Guild. Service sprouted from a weekly extension service from Birchard Public Library in Fremont to full library service at its present location in 1969, with several moves and tremendous support from the Guild and the community along the way. Major renovations were made possible by the bond issue of 1987. The Village pays for utilities and building maintenance.
