The Wilson-Cobb History and Genealogy Research Library is a special collection library that was established in April 1999. It was organized to serve the needs of Roswell, New Mexico and surrounding communities in the geographical area.
Monetary support for the library comes through members, grants, charitable donations and fund raisers.
Support donations come from individuals, companies/corporations, small businesses and government offices. These donations consist of books, finding aid materials, small office equipment/furniture, office supplies and/or any other item that may be used in the operation of the library.
The activities of the library are conducted by dedicated volunteers
The library is a non-profit organization and your contributions are tax deductible.
The library is a facility open to anyone without regard to race, creed, sex, color or national origin.
Use of the available materials is at no charge to the user.
The materials housed in the library shall be used for research only and may not be removed from the facility.
The library is a member of FGS (Federal Genealogy Society) and The Roswell Hispano Chamber of Commerce.
