The Westborough Public Library is a member of the Central and Western Massachusetts Regional Library System (C/W MARS). Westborough Library card holders may use their cards to check out books at any of the C/W MARS member libraries.
Westborough Library services include Children's Room, Young Adult Room, Reference Department, Westborough Room, Periodical/Reading Room, and Adult Services Department. A wide range of programs, including book discussion groups, public speakers, children's activities and story hours are offered to the public. (See Adult Services or Children's Room for schedules.)
The Westborough Room, located on the main floor was established to help preserve Westborough's history. Its collection consists of vital records, town reports, genealogy publications, maps, photographs, and other materials of local historical and genealogical interest.
The Westborough Library Reference Department provides users with help finding answers to their questions and locating information to fulfill their research needs. Along with its collection of print reference sources, the reference department also provides several CD ROM and online databases, as well as Internet access. The reference desk is staffed whenever the library is open.
Public computers for Internet access or for word processing are available to library patrons. A library card is required to log on. Internet service is provided on seven computers on the main floor and two in the Children's Room. The library has two additional computers available for word processing only.
Copiers are located in the library in the Children's Room and in the (Parkman Street side) lobby on the main floor. The library also has microfilm/fiche readers.
