DIRECTIONS
FROM SOUTHERN STATE PARKWAY - EXIT 17 NORTH (HEMPSTEAD AVE):
Stay in the right lane and proceed north on Hempstead Avenue about 3/4 mile. Library is orange brick building on the east (right) side of Hempstead Avenue. Small parking lot is on the north side and large municipal lot is on the south side of building.
FROM HEMPSTEAD TURNPIKE (ROUTE 24):
Eastbound: Turn south (right) at Nassau Blvd. Proceed to end of road. Make left turn at first light on to Hempstead Ave. (Landmark: Hall's Pond on the left.) Go 1/2 mile to library on right side of road.
Westbound: Turn south (left) at Westminster Road. (Landmark: Wholesale Liquidators store on the left). Hempstead Avenue is next major road. Turn right on Hempstead Avenue. Library is 1/2 mile south on left side of road.
FROM NORTHERN NASSAU COUNTY:
Get to Hempstead Turnpike via major road (e.g. New Hyde Park Road, Nassau Blvd., Franklin Ave.) and follow directions as above.
