About Us:

The Warren County Memorial Library serves as both a resource and a catalyst for the enrichment, the enlightenment, and the improvement of the lives of all Warren County citizens by providing a collection of educational, informational, and recreational materials.

The library is a department of the County of Warren. A nine member Board of Trustees, sets policy and serves in an advisory capacity to the Warren County Board of Commissioners.

Funding is levied by the governments of Warren County and the State of North Carolina in the form of state aid legislated by the General Assembly. Additional funding comes from grants, donations, and gifts.

The library and staff provide professional assistance to library users in a setting that promotes individual attention. Research assistance, homework help, reference assistance, and recommending recreational reading are just some of the areas where the staff can lend invaluable aid and expertise.
