History:
Formerly a Kent County bookmobile stop at Walker Station School, a storefront library in Standale as well as a storefront library located near Remembrance Rd. and Leonard St., the present Walker Branch Library has been located in the City of Walker Municipal Center since 1991. The Library's collection contains nearly 50,000 items and serves over 130,000 people annually. Located near the City of Walker's Central Park and Walker Ice and Fitness Center, the Walker Library compliments a host of city services.
