The Wabasso Public Library is a member of the Plum Creek Library System, a nine-county, 35 member federated library system. It was established in 1932 by the Wabasso Progress Club. It was housed in two locations before moving to its present building in 1942.

The Wabasso Public Library was established in 1932 by the Wabasso Progress Club.  It was housed in two locations before moving to its present building in 1942.  An addition to our current building was built in 1990 that doubled our space.  In addition to more than 10,000 books, the Wabasso Public Library has a collection of over 1,600 DVD’s.  We also have a puzzle and puppet collection containing over 30 puzzles and 40 puppets. The library also houses subscriptions to over 40 magazines and newspapers, as well as more than 500 books on CD.  We also have rotating collection of cake pans.  There are three computers for the public to access and we can find any book from any library in Minnesota
