The Village Library of Wrightstown retains its humble origins in a modern world by offering the services and diversity of programming traditionally only available at large venues, with the quaint friendly demeanor of neighbors. The Library is commonly referred to as our community meeting place of ideas, services, and programs. While our original one room schoolhouse is retained as our thriving community room, the library itself allows us to reflect our community, where people all interests and activity levels enjoy the benefits of a public library side-by-side. Although it is a small library with limited space, it offers access to all materials throughout the Bucks County Library System. Patrons can place a hold from the Library or event their own home, and have it sent to the Library in Wrightstown for pickup at their convenience. In addition, there are public computers for Internet access as well as wireless Internet.

Although a small library, Wrightstown Library provides full services and programs for all members of our community through committed staff, dedicated volunteers, and community partnerships. The expansive programming starts with the youngest ages and never ceases. There are programs at the library for children beginning with 8 month old toddlers through the high school years. The programs and services designed to ensure that our very young readers will enter school ready to read, write, listen, and explore their interests.

Older children have materials and programs that stimulate their imaginations, provide pleasurable reading, satisfy their curiosity and help them to succeed in school.

The Wrightstown Library has embraced its role of community programming services for all by expanding its offerings to include tween and teen activities through movies, gaming nights, teen/tween nights, lock-ins, and targeted programming. With resources for patrons of all ages, anyone can explore topics of personal interest and continue to learn throughout their lives. The library hosts practice SAT tests several times throughout the year courtesy of The Princeton Review. It gives high school students the chance to determine their strengths and weaknesses and practice for that all-important SAT test. The Library forgets no-one, so its continues to offer programming for adults of all ages with book discussion groups, rug hooking classes, investment seminars, and exercise groups - all which meet on a regular basis in our Community Room.
