The city established its first library in 1975. At that time the library was a small room in city hall and was identified as the smallest recognized library in the state. The second library building was constructed in 1980. On July 21, 2014 we opened our new spacious 7500 square foot library. The new library is modernized with vibrant colors, computer work areas, comfortable reading chairs and a beautiful children's area with a large mural painted by a local artist.
