Mission

The mission of the Texarkana Public Library through its excellent service, is to provide materials, information, programs and facilities to improve the quality of life for all people in our community.

About

 The Texarkana Public Library provides free services to all residents living within the  city limits of Texarkana, Arkansas and Texarkana, Texas.  Services are available to citizens outside the city limits for a fee.

The library has over 100,000 materials  available for check-out that include books, compact discs, videos, Dvds, digital audio books, magazines and downloadable audio books. 

In addition to these items, thousands of people enter the library to utilize print and electronic reference resources, access the Internet, checkout a laptop in house, enjoy free Wi-Fi service,make copies, send a fax, participate in computer and Internet training,  or attend one of the Library’s events.
