The Sturgis Public Library is a branch of Starkville-Oktibbeha County Library System. The library was built in 1967 as part of the county wide library building project. Community collections are exhibited monthly at the library. The Sturgis Library features an automated circulation system and a public access terminal for internet use. All computer patrons must have a current library card. Books or materials that are not available can be borrowed through interlibrary loan.
