Located nearly 20 miles from any other public library, the Spicewood Library provides a variety of services to the residents of this area. The library opened in 2007 with 100% private funding and no public funding has ever been provided. With fundraising success from numerous donors, the library now offers

- 24/7/365 Wi-Fi access in the parking lot
- 6 Patron PCs equipped with popular software and high-speed Internet access
- Large children's section
- Access to thousands of e-books and audio books to check out via download

- Monthly services such as Nurse in the Library and Lawyer in the Library
