About Us:
Southington Library & Museum is a unique partnership between two well-established town institutions: Southington Public Library and the Barnes Museum.
The Library, which was established in 1900, is an extremely busy public library with an average number of 750 visitors per day during the school year and over 1,000 per day during summer and school vacation days.

The Mission of the Library is to serve the educational, cultural, and recreational needs of the community as well as to provide numerous opportunities for life-long learning.
