South County Regional Branch Library

South County Regional Library serves southern Mecklenburg County as the county's largest regional library. The building underwent a 15-month renovation beginning in November 2019 and re-opened to the public on February 22, 2021 with limited services under the Library's multilevel COVID safety plan. South County is a favorite destination for all ages, serving over 450,000 visitors each year.
