The Smith Center Public Library is located in a new wing of the Srader Center. The reading area has glass walls that make Court Street and downtown Smith Center a part of the room. Separate rooms offer genealogical resources and the libraries extensive Kansas collection. A small courtyard between the library wing and the older parts of the Srader Center is used on pretty days for library events.
