Sisters Public Library

110 North Cedar Street
541-312-1070

The Sisters Public Library has a tradition of more than 65 years of library service and community involvement. Built in 2005, the 8,300 sq ft library facility was designed as a popular reading library and is a community centerpiece with enriched programs for all ages. In addition to a variety of books and materials, we have PCs available where patrons can access the Internet, use various Microsoft programs, or conduct research on our extensive list of electronic databases. We also have wireless internet available.

The Northwest look and feel of Sisters is apparent in the exterior design features of the building, including a partial wraparound porch with the Western appearance for which Sisters is famous. The interior design features vaulted ceilings and a gas fireplace that gives the reading area a “living room” feel. The community gathering room holds 50-60 people for public meetings and social events. Landscaped grounds combined with a friendly atmosphere make the library a popular place for the community to gather.
