History

The library was built in 1912 with matching funds from the Andrew Carnegie Foundation. (Andrew Carnegie is pictured at right). All the original furnishings are still in use. There is approximately 4,000 square feet of space on two levels, with the children's library on the lower level.There are over 35,000 volumes on the shelves
