The Salisbury Library has been open in different locations around town on and off for the last 109 years! The current incarnation, in the Old Town Hall in the middle of the village, has been in operation since 1996. Our mission is to be a comfortable place for friends and neighbors to gather to share books, ideas, news, and friendship.
We offer books, magazines, DVDs, inter-library loan, two public computers with Internet access, a web-cam, and an open wi-fi Internet connection (works in the parking lot!) to the residents of the town of Salisbury. Leicester residents also are welcome to sign up for library cards, as are summer visitors to Lake Dunmore.
We hold programs for adults and story time for children after school. See our blog for current information about what's happening at the library!
