Salamanca Public Library

155 Wildwood Avenue
716-945-1890

The Salamanca Public Library was originally built as a Carnegie Library on South Main Street in 1920. After many years of growth and service to the community, the Library Board studied the possibility of an expanded facility.

In 1976, a group of volunteers renovated a former supermarket on Wildwood Avenue into the current library.  It is truly a community library.

Mission:

The mission of the Salamanca Public Library is to provide Salamanca area residents of all ages with materials, services and resources for their educational, intellectual and recreational needs through the use of print, non-print and electronic media.
