About Us:
The St. Helens Public Library is located at 375 South 18th Street in historic St. Helens, Oregon. The Library provides free services to all residents living within the St. Helens city limits. Services are available to all others for a fee.
The library holds over 43,000 materials including over 27,000 books, 1,900 audio books (books on tape, books on CD, books on MP3, and Playaway), 2,500 videos (VHS and DVD), nearly 100 magazine subscriptions, over 20 electronic databases, and many more great items for your enjoyment.
In total, over 125,000 items were checked out of the Library during fiscal year 2006-2007. That's 47.1 items every hour ... or one item every 1.27 minutes! Over 35,000 library visits were made during the year. People entered the Library to utilize print and electronic reference resources, access the Internet through the Library's high speed connection, or attend one of the Library's many events.
