The Ruth Vine Tyler Library has been serving Salt Lake County residents since 1967 and is known as "the Salt Lake County Library System's best kept secret". The library may be off the main thoroughfares, but is well worth discovering in its friendly neighborhood setting. Tyler was remodeled in 2000, making the building look even more spacious and providing more room for the collection, Internet computers and service desks. Tyler has a good collection of art books, including many over sized publications. There is a growing collection of books, music and films for Spanish speaking customers. The video, DVD and audio book collections are also very popular. The children's room has inviting displays and a colorful adventure carpet for children to enjoy.
