History
The Snyder County Library was established in 1976 by the Snyder County Commissioners to promote and extend library services throughout the county.
Since its inception, the Snyder County Library has established libraries in Middleburg and Beavertown as compliments to the original two libraries in Selinsgrove and McClure and has undergone a change of name to Snyder County Libraries, one library with the headquarters library in Selinsgrove and branches in Middleburg, Beavertown, and McClure
