The Rolling Meadows Library is a community center for learning, culture, and recreation. Established in 1959, the library owns over 211,000 items, circulates over 400,000 items annually, and averages 20,000 visits per month. We are a member of the Reaching Across Illinois Library System (RAILS). The Library's website connects, with direct links, to reference databases, book suggestions, programs for children and adults, our Kids Page, Rolling Meadows Historical File online, Business and Community Profiles, Investment Help, Encyclopedias, and other informational sites.

24 Computer Stations are for public use and provide access to the Internet, subscription databases, and the library's online catalog of fiction, nonfiction, recorded books, DVDs, CDs and all other items in the collections. Our Youth area has eight stations for youth use and our mobile computer lab is used to conduct our Computer Classes in the Community Room.

Library cards are free to all residents and available to businesses located in Rolling Meadows. We have an automated telephone renewal system. Outreach services include homebound deliveries and services to nursing homes and Clearbrook. We have programs for children, families, and adults all year round. Plus, our Arts Alive series includes live concerts and exhibits by area artists; Book Discussion Clubs, choice of mornings or evenings; and Main floor display cases are available for patron collections.
