The RCS Community Library is an independent, non-profit Public Library serving the residents of Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District.The borrowing collection includes books, audio books, magazines, music CDs, videotapes and DVDs. Interlibrary Loan service enables RCSCL cardholders to borrow materials from libraries across the country.

The reference collection has information about a wealth of subjects, including higher education, careers, collectibles, health, history and geography, literature and science. The library also receives daily and weekly newspapers. Local history sources consist of centennial histories, publications about the Hudson River Valley, and microfilm of the weekly News Herald and its predecessors beginning in 1873.

Public computer workstations are equipped with Internet connections, word processing software, subscription only databases, and children's games. The children's corner has puzzles, toys, thematic story kits, a Parenting Collection and books for children of all ages.
