History:

- 1925, An existing town library was given space within the new town hall when it opened.

- 1982, Orting annexed to the Library System.

- May 1982, Orting Library moved to a new community center at 202 South Washington St. which was funded by Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

- Spring 2007, Wireless Internet access installed.
