The Friends of the Pemberton Community Library is a group of dedicated area residents who provide support to the library, its programs and staff. The group began in the 1960’s in Browns Mills by going door to door, collecting books to start the Browns Mills Library. Their activities include:

running programs for youth and adults

compiling and distributing history books on the township

preserving local historic items

maintaining their own collection of original area artwork and photographs

running community trips

raising funds to cover these activities

The Friends most impressive undertaking was coordinating the raising of over $700,000 to furnish the current library. The Friends welcome all interested individuals.
