About Us:

Another distinctive feature is the Dan Waugh Nature Trail, which begins behind the library and winds along the Plum Creek. Dan Waugh was well known in this area as the writer of "Nature Rambles," a weekly column in the Berea News Sun which shared his observations on nature. The trail was a bicentennial project of the Olmsted Falls/Olmsted Township communities and highlights the natural beauty of the woods and waterways that make this area special. The library houses a bound collection of some of his favorite nature columns. The 40,000 plus volumes of books, music, and videos includes a large collection of blues artists, as well as substantial holdings of foreign films.
