Originally founded in 1916, the present-day library opened its doors at 700 Fifth Street, Moundsville, in January of 1962. We used to be called the City-County Public Library, but now our official name is the Moundsville-Marshall County Public Library. We also act as regional headquarters for several affiliate libraries, forming a service center that goes by the name of the Miracle Valley Regional Library System.
