About Us:

The Morris Area Public Library District was founded as a city library in December 1913.  Today it serves approximately 18,500 people and has a collection of 60,000 books, e-books, movies, music CDs, magazines and newspapers, and audiobooks available for checkout.  Local history materials are also available for use in the library.

The library is a full member of the Reaching Across Illinois Library System (RAILS) and actively loans and borrows materials with other member libraries.  Through its partnerships with other libraries, the Morris Area Public Library has access to millions of items.

Morris Area Public Library District is not affiliated with AmericanTowns Media
