The Middleton Public Library is the central source for equal opportunity life-long education in the city of Middleton, Idaho. We provide self directed education, instructive and enlightening experiences and a comfortable community center in which patrons can gather and interact.

About Us:
The Middleton Public Library began in 1960 with a collection of donated books that were loaned out by volunteers from City Hall. The library remained in the City Hall until 1973, when it was moved to a former power substation donated to the city by the Idaho Power Company. In 1982 the library moved to its present location, a former seed mill donated by the Simplot Company. This building has served the community well, but with the growth of the city and increased need for library services, a new building is needed.
The Library Board has appointed a committee to begin plans for a new building and welcomes suggestions, monetary donations, and new volunteers in this endeavor.
