History
Established in 1939 by the local Women's Club, the Meyersdale Public Library has grown through the years into a vital resource, recognized for its quality of services to this rural region.
Our focus is on providing information resources, genealogy and local history, and offering a creative and welcoming environment for children. We also have an excellent collection of over 36,000 books. Eight computers offer Internet access and software programs to the public via a satellite connection. Our thanks to the Pennsylvania State Department of Education and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation; their support has made our technology resources possible.
