The Fire Company was organized in October of 1939, and was comprised of 21 firefighters and one truck housed under the old Kaufman Building, which is now the South Park Flower Shop.
Presently the Company is located at 6581 Library Road. Today the company houses four firefighting vehicles.
Our members are on the corners for Halloween to protect the children and we also Santa delivers treats to the kids the Saturday before Christmas.
Because of everyone's busy life volunteerism is on the decline, but if not for the volunteers, who would protect your family and possessions.
