Mission:
It is the purpose of the Leighton Township Library to provide service to individuals and groups in the community, by making available recreational, educational, informational and cultural materials.
About Us:
The Leighton Township Library is located in Moline. The library provides free services to all residents living within the Leighton Township boundaries.
The library system holds over 24,000 materials including over 18,000 books, 1000 compact discs, and 1800 DVDs which are all available for check-out.
In total, over 68,000 items were checked out of the library during fiscal year 2011-2012! In addition to these items, thousands of people entered the library to utilize print and electronic reference resources, access the Internet through the Library’s fiber-optic connection, enjoy state-of-the-art Wi-fi service, or attend one of the Library’s many events.
