Lanier Library

Lanier Library maintains a collection of popular works in both print and non-print media and a large collection of classics; the CD collection is rapidly growing. The juvenile collection includes a number of Caldecott and Newbery award winners. A recent acquisition to the video collection is all of the Academy Award winners for best picture. Special collections include the North Carolina collection, the Tryon authors collection, the Sidney Lanier collection, works of the performing and creative arts, and the Forbes Business collection. The large print collection contains fiction, non-fiction, and biographies.
