The La Pine Library opened its doors in 2000 and has served as an important community hub ever since. This 8,099 square foot building is centrally located and is easily accessible to people who live in the city as well as the outlying areas of southern Deschutes County.

The library’s vibrant children’s area includes an interactive Early Learning Station, while the dedicated teen space offers the perfect location for teens to browse and connect with one another. The adult materials are interspersed with quiet, relaxed reading areas. The library’s community meeting room hosts story times and informative presentations. Free WiFi is available throughout the building.
