About Us:

Federal Way Library opened in December 1991 and is the larger of two libraries in the city of Federal Way. The 25,000 square foot building houses a collection of more than 180,000 items. Forty computers, most with internet access are available for public use. The library serves residents of southern King County and northern Pierce County with a full range of library services including programs of interest to all ages, and classes in the use of the library and its computers.

If you have a love of books and libraries, we want you! The Friends of the Federal Way Libraries is a non profit organization dedicated to preserving and strengthening the Federal Way libraries. This is accomplished through volunteering and fund raising for programs, services and other library needs not addressed by the King County Library System. Membership forms are available at both libraries.
