Mission Statement
The Kenilworth Public Library is dedicated to serving the community through the acquisition of print, non-print and electronic media, as well as through the regular scheduling of programming for children and adults. Additionally, the library is committed to promoting literacy and lifelong learning for people of all ages. Such service shall be provided in a manner that is cordial, efficient and equitable. The library shall be staffed by personnel who are both knowledgeable and committed to the highest levels of customer service and overseen by a Board of Trustees whose members are also totally committed to these standards. Although residents of Kenilworth are the library’s primary constituents, the library also recognizes its responsibility to serve those individuals who are employed or attend school within the Borough or who reside in communities that maintain reciprocity agreements with the Kenilworth Public Library.
