This is one awesome place... I would have to say "The Best in Kansas City"... It is so unique and brilliantly stunning... The building is ancient... Very old... Talk about historical... This would be one of those places.. Its massively huge... And the vault has been turned into a splendid little theater where movie's both old and new are played...both in the afternoon as well as evening... They offer a huge selection of DVD'S if that's your thing.. Which I love because I can get every old movie from the 40' s and earlier if so inclined... They even have an outside rooftop to view the city with a huge chessboard to play chess.. They offer so many different kinds of programs... Well worth visiting... For parking they validate 1 hour free... After that its $1 for another 20 minutes...there's also coin parking on the street if your lucky that is... 💘 it!

One of the must visit places in Kansas City. There is museum inside it too. There is also good play place for kids. You may go to top floor by using elevator, and see the downtown from there.

Friendly staff. I've just recently started going there again. I'm a regular here. Prefer them or northeast branch over Plaza any day because of the rude staff at Plaza. They don't act like I'm bothering them when asking for help or to check out.

Absolutely GORGEOUS building and inside. Great place to study. Don’t forget to go up to the rooftop park and take a look at the great view and play a game of life size chess!
