About Us
Welcome to the Kailua Public Library! Designed by the architectural firm of Lemmon, Freeth, Maines and Jones, our library opened on Dec. 28, 1960. Best known for our “Reading Tree” in the Children’s Room, it provides an aesthetically-pleasing backdrop for storytimes and special events. In back of our library is a beautiful courtyard with seating for patrons to read or chat with friends
