The Janesville Public Library shall provide people with effective access to information and ideas in such a manner that:

All people of all ages find access to current, popular materials.

Individuals with information needs based on personal or job-related interests find materials chosen to help make everyday living successful.

Preschoolers, their parents and caregivers will find materials and activities meant to stimulate preschoolers' interests in reading and learning.
