Our Mission
To promote life-long learning skills and continuous educational achievement, the Indiana University Northwest Library is dedicated to meeting the diverse education and research needs of students, faculty, staff and other customers in an environment of free and open inquiry and with a commitment to excellence.
Housing nearly a half a million books and other publications, the library features plenty of work areas and all the modern technology necessary for productive study and research. The building is also home to the Lake County Central Law library, the university’s conference center, the chancellor’s office and a small café.
