History:
The Highland Township Public Library was established for the purpose of providing all residents of Highland Township with access to materials and services for information, education, culture and recreation.
In order to accomplish this purpose, the Library will support the principles of intellectual freedom as set forth in the Freedom to Read Statement and in the Library Bill of Rights of the American Library Association.
It is the mission of the Highland Township Public Library to provide free and open access to its facilities and services for all members of the community who are willing to abide by the policies set forth by the Library Board.
