About Us

The Buffalo Public Library is a modern, fully accessible library close to the downtown area of Buffalo. The library is part of the Great River Regional Library system which has 31 locations throughout its service area. The GRRL has a total of more that 700,000 items which include books, music cassettes, compact disks, books on tape, videotapes, and periodicals that can be accessed by patrons. Through an automated computer network, people who use the library in Buffalo can search the computer catalog for the entire system and have access to materials in other libraries. A daily delivery service circulates items requested by patrons, which allows available items to be delivered to the local library within days.
