The mission of the Galter Health Sciences Library is to meet the information needs of the faculty, staff and students of the Feinberg School of Medicine and the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in fulfillment of their missions in research, education and patient care. The library's mission to serve also extends to other members of the university community, including all alumni, in their pursuit of health information. The Galter Library staff strives to fulfill the library's mission through excellence in scholarly resource accessibility and usability, user services, a state-of-the-art facility, technological innovation, and integrated educational programs.
