Originally built in 1963, the Sandy Springs Library was expanded in 1973 and again in 1989 to its current size of just over 25,000 square feet. The latest remodel, completed in 2019, completely reimagines the interior space and adds small, medium and large meeting rooms, small group study rooms, an expanded children's department and dedicated Teen Lounge, as well as a computer lab. The Library Reading Garden offers a walking meditation labyrinth and plentiful benches where patrons can enjoy reading their latest library find.
