Friends Of The Secaucus Public Library And Business Resource Center

The Friends of the Library is a non-profit organization benefiting public libraries. Its membership consists of students, parents, alumni, patrons, business and professional groups and all persons interested in promoting its purposes.

Purpose:

To stimulate awareness of the Secaucus Public Library as an informational, educational and cultural center for people of all ages in the community. To focus attention towards activities, to encourage gifts, endowments and bequests to support the "Freedom to Read" statement as expressed in the American Library Association Bill of Rights. It shall cooperate with the library trustees, but shall not assume duties or prerogatives of the library trustees or administration.
