About the Friends Of The Saugus Public Library :
The Friends of the Saugus Public Library is a non-profit, community service organization whose goals include stimulating broader community interest in the resources of the library, planning library-related activities that meet the evolving needs of all members of the community, and expanding and enhancing library services for the community. Some of their efforts include:
- presenting free programs for all ages
- purchasing books, videos, magazines, furniture and equipment
- holding used book sales as well as the on-going sale at the library.
