About Us:

The Friends of the Plano Library System was established in 1965 to sponsor programs designed to add to the cultural life of the community, to encourage gifts, endowments and memorials for the Library, and to provide direct financial assistance by purchasing for the Library special and unusual items of goods or services which would be of great benefit but were not affordable. The Friends is a Texas 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
